Abstract
【解決手段】画素を含む画素領域と前記画素領域以外の非画素領域とに区分される第1基板と、前記第1基板の前記画素領域を含む所定領域に対向する第2基板と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に形成されて前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを密封するフリットと、を含み、前記第1基板の非画素領域は、バッファー層が形成されている透明基板と、前記バッファー層上に形成される第1絶縁膜と、前記第1絶縁膜の上部にパターニングされて形成された第1金属膜と、前記第1金属膜と前記第1絶縁膜上に形成される第2絶縁膜と、前記第2絶縁膜の上部に形成され、所定領域が蝕刻されて第2金属膜が形成される保護膜と、を含む。

Description
もし、第1絶縁膜302aの厚さが1200Å、第1金属膜303aの厚さが2000Å、第2絶縁膜304aの厚さが5000Å、第2金属膜305aの厚さが5000Å、保護膜306aの厚さが6000Åの場合には、段差d2は第1金属膜303aと第2金属膜305aの厚さの合計に対応する。
図2は、本発明による平板表示装置の構造を示す構造図である。図2を参照して説明すれば、平板表示装置は画素部1000、データ駆動部2000、走査駆動部3000及び電源供給部4000を含む。

Claims (10)
- 画素を含む画素領域と前記画素領域以外の非画素領域とに区分される第1基板と、
前記第1基板の前記画素領域を含む所定領域に対向する第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に形成されて前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを密封するフリットと、を含み、
前記第1基板の非画素領域は、バッファー層が形成されている透明基板と、前記バッファー層上に形成される第1絶縁膜と、前記第1絶縁膜の上部にパターニングされて形成された第1金属膜と、前記第1金属膜と前記第1絶縁膜との上に形成される第2絶縁膜と、前記第2絶縁膜の上部に形成され、所定領域が蝕刻されて第2金属膜が形成される保護膜と、を含むことを特徴とする平板表示装置。 - 前記所定領域は、前記第2金属膜の上部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記保護膜は、上端の高さの差が前記第2絶縁膜の厚さより小さく形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記フリットは、レーザまたは赤外線を吸収する吸収材を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記第1金属膜と前記第2金属膜は、前記所定領域で交差することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記金属膜は、前記画素領域に所定の電圧を供給する画素電源線、データ線、走査線の中の少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記画素は、有機発光ダイオードを利用して発光することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 画素を含む画素領域と前記画素領域以外の非画素領域を含み、前記画素を利用して画像を表現する平板表示装置を製造する方法において、
バッファー層が形成された第1基板上に前記第1絶縁膜を形成して前記第1絶縁膜の上部に第1金属膜をパターニングして形成する段階と、
前記第1金属膜が形成された第1絶縁膜の上部に第2絶縁膜を蒸着して前記第2絶縁膜の上部に第2金属膜をパターニングして形成する段階と、
前記第2金属膜が形成された第2絶縁膜の上部に保護膜を形成する段階と、
前記保護膜の上端の高さが高い領域を蝕刻する段階と、
フリットを利用して前記第1基板と第2基板とを密封する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする平板表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記密封する段階は、レーザまたは赤外線を利用することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の平板表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第1金属膜と前記第2金属膜は交差しており、前記第1金属膜と前記第2金属膜とが交差する領域の高さが前記第1金属膜と前記第2金属膜とが交差しない領域の高さより高いことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の平板表示装置の製造方法。
