Abstract
【解決手段】 マルテンサイト組織の鋼または低炭素マルテンサイト中にε−炭化物が分散された鋼からなる基材の表面に、非晶質のNi−P合金からなる表面被覆層を形成する。次いで、これに加熱処理を施すことによって、前記基材をトルースタイト組織またはソルバイト組織に変えるとともに、前記表面被覆層をNiとNi3Pの共晶組織に変える。好ましくは、前記基材は、炭素を0.3wt%以上、2.7wt%以下、クロムを13wt%以下含み、前記加熱処理は、270℃以上で行われる。

Description
この基材の表面に、非晶質のNi−P合金からなる表面被覆層を形成し、
次いで、これに加熱処理を施すことによって、前記基材をトルースタイト組織またはソルバイト組織に変えるとともに、前記表面被覆層をNiとNi3Pの共晶組織に変えること、を特徴とする。
Claims (12)
- 鋼製の素材に焼入れ焼戻しを施して、マルテンサイト中にε−炭化物が分散された組織からなる基材を製作し、
この基材の表面に、非晶質のNi−P合金からなる表面被覆層を形成し、
次いで、これに加熱処理を施すことによって、前記基材をトルースタイト組織またはソルバイト組織に変えるとともに、前記表面被覆層をNiとNi3Pの共晶組織に変えること、を特徴とするガラス成形用金型の製造方法。 - 前記基材中に含まれる炭素が0.3wt%以上、2.7wt%以下であり、クロムが13wt%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。
- 前記基材の焼戻し温度が350℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。
- 前記非晶質のNi−P合金からなる表面被覆層は、NiとPまたはNiとPとBを含む無電解めっきにより形成され、
前記加熱処理は、前記基材の焼戻し温度より高い温度、且つ、当該金型の使用温度より高い温度で行われること、
を特徴とする請求項2に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。 - 前記加熱処理は、270℃以上で行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。

- 前記非晶質のNi−P合金からなる表面被覆層は、NiとPまたはNiとPとBを含む無電解めっきにより形成され、
前記加熱処理は、前記基材の焼戻し温度より高い温度、且つ、当該金型の使用温度より高い温度で行われること、
を特徴とする請求項7に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。 - 前記加熱処理は、270℃以上で行われることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のガラス成形用金型の製造方法。
- トルースタイト組織またはソルバイト組織を有する鋼からなる基材の表面に、NiとNi3Pの共晶組織からなる表面被覆層が被覆されたガラス成形用金型。
- 前記基材中に含まれる炭素が0.3wt%以上、2.7wt%以下であり、クロムが13wt%以下であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のガラス成形用金型。
- 前記表面被覆層は、クラックなどがなく、残留応力が、+150MPaから−760MPaまでの範囲内(但し、+は引張り応力、−は圧縮応力を表す)にあることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のガラス成形用金型。
