Abstract
Description
一態様において、本発明は、植込み型医療用人工器官のバンパーを特徴とし、バンパーは、人工器官をバンパーに対して一定方向に配置するために、人工器官のセルと係合するように形成される保持具を備える。
幾つかの実施例において、植込み型医療用人工器官の搬送システムは、人工器官の位置決めにおいて比較的高い精度、及び/又は、人工器官の配置において向上した制御を示す。
例えば、図20A及び20Bは、ステント搬送システム500を示しており、同システムは、シース510、シース510と同軸状に配置される内カテーテル520、内カテーテル520に装着されるとともにシース510内に保持されるバンパー530を備える。バンパー530は、頭部532、本体部534、及び本体部534上のバンパー保持具536を備える。バンパー保持具536は、形状記憶材料から形成される。ステント540は、バンパー530の頭部532に隣接するとともに、シース510と内カテーテル520との間において抑止されている。図20Aは、ステントのセルとバンパー保持具536とが係合されていない状態におけるステント搬送システム500を示す。しかしながら、図20Bに示すように、バンパー保持具536が温度の変化(例:ステント搬送システム500が被術者の体内に搬送された場合)を受けると、保持具536はステント540のセル542,544に係合される。
一例として、部分的に開放されたセルの特定の実施例について述べてきたが、他の実施例もまた可能である。一般的に、植込み型医療用人工器官の部分的に開放されたセルは、人工器官搬送システムの保持具(例:バンパー保持具)に係合されるような形状を有することができる。

- 請求項1に記載の植込み型医療用人工器官のバンパーであって、該バンパーはバンパー本体部を備え、前記保持具は該バンパー本体部から径方向に突出することを特徴とするバンパー。
- 請求項2に記載の植込み型医療用人工器官のバンパーであって、前記保持具は前記バンパー本体部から径方向に突出するフラップからなることを特徴とするバンパー。

該カテーテル及び該シースは、それらの間に該植込み型医療用人工器官が配置されるように形成されることとを特徴とする搬送システム。 - 植込み型医療用人工器官であって、
長手方向に沿って第1の端部と第2の端部と、第1の端部において配置される部分的に開放されたセルを含む複数のセルとを有することと、該部分的に開放されたセルは該長手方向と平行な面において屈曲されることとを特徴とする人工器官。 - 請求項38に記載の植込み型医療用人工器官であって、前記部分的に開放されたセルは、ステントバンパーの保持具に係合されることを特徴とする人工器官。
