Description
一態様において、本発明は、植込み型医療用人工器官のバンパーを特徴とし、バンパーは、人工器官をバンパーに対して一定方向に配置するために、人工器官のセルと係合するように形成される保持具を備える。
幾つかの実施例において、植込み型医療用人工器官の搬送システムは、人工器官の位置決めにおいて比較的高い精度、及び/又は、人工器官の配置において向上した制御を示す。
さらに他の実施例において、ステントを搬送するための搬送装置であって、内カテーテルと、前記内カテーテル上に配置された、開放されたセルを有するステントと、該開放されたセルには、互いに隣接する2個のパドルが設けられており、各パドルは、開放されたセルに取り付けられてステントから離間する方向に延びる脚部と、該脚部の先端において脚部よりも幅の広い頭部とを有するとともに、放射線不透過性材料を含むことと、前記内カテーテル上に配置されたシースと、前記内カテーテルに装着された、本体部と頭部とを有するバンパーと、前記バンパーの本体部の表面から径方向外方へ突出し、かつ、本体部の表面に固定されているバンパー保持部とを備え、該バンパー保持部は、前記パドルの2個の頭部によって係留され、2個の脚部間で挟まれることを特徴とする。
例えば、図20A及び20Bは、ステント搬送システム500を示しており、同システムは、シース510、シース510と同軸状に配置される内カテーテル520、内カテーテル520に装着されるとともにシース510内に保持されるバンパー530を備える。バンパー530は、頭部532、本体部534、及び本体部534上のバンパー保持具536を備える。バンパー保持具536は、形状記憶材料から形成される。ステント540は、バンパー530の頭部532に隣接するとともに、シース510と内カテーテル520との間において抑止されている。図20Aは、ステントのセルとバンパー保持具536とが係合されていない状態におけるステント搬送システム500を示す。しかしながら、図20Bに示すように、バンパー保持具536が温度の変化(例:ステント搬送システム500が被術者の体内に搬送された場合)を受けると、保持具536はステント540のセル542,544に係合される。
一例として、部分的に開放されたセルの特定の実施例について述べてきたが、他の実施例もまた可能である。一般的に、植込み型医療用人工器官の部分的に開放されたセルは、人工器官搬送システムの保持具(例:バンパー保持具)に係合されるような形状を有することができる。
Claims (4)
- ステントを搬送するための搬送装置であって、
内カテーテルと、
前記内カテーテル上に配置された、開放されたセルを有するステントと、該開放されたセルには、互いに隣接する2個のパドルが設けられており、各パドルは、開放されたセルに取り付けられてステントから離間する方向に延びる脚部と、該脚部の先端において脚部よりも幅の広い頭部とを有するとともに、放射線不透過性材料を含むことと、
前記内カテーテル上に配置されたシースと、
前記内カテーテルに装着された、本体部と頭部とを有するバンパーと、
前記バンパーの本体部の表面から径方向外方へ突出し、かつ、本体部の表面に固定されているバンパー保持部とを備え、該バンパー保持部は、前記パドルの2個の頭部によって係留され、2個の脚部間で挟まれることを特徴とする搬送装置。 - 前記バンパー保持部はひし形である請求項1に記載の搬送装置。
- 前記バンパー保持部は三角形である請求項1に記載の搬送装置。
- 前記バンパー保持部は半円である請求項1に記載の搬送装置。
