Claims (11)
- 触媒と、以下の構造Iの1種以上のジアリールカーボネートと、レゾルシノール、メチルレゾルシノール、ヒドロキノン及びメチルヒドロキノンからなる群から選択される1種以上のジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物とを含む混合物を加熱してポリカーボネート生成物を得ることを含んでなるポリカーボネートの製造方法であって、触媒が1種以上のアルカリ土類イオン又はアルカリ金属イオン源及び1種以上の第四アンモニウム化合物、第四ホスホニウム化合物又はこれらの混合物を含んでおり、アルカリ土類イオン又はアルカリ金属イオン源が、混合物中のジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物1モル当たり1×10-5〜1×10-8モルのアルカリ土類金属イオン又はアルカリ金属イオンが存在する量で存在し、第四アンモニウム化合物、第四ホスホニウム化合物又はこれらの混合物がジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物1モル当たり2.5×10-3〜1×10-6モルの量で存在し、ポリカーボネート生成物がレゾルシノール、メチルレゾルシノール、ヒドロキノン及びメチルヒドロキノンからなる群の1種以上のものから誘導された繰返し単位を含む、方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネート生成物が、a)レゾルシノール、b)メチルレゾルシノール、c)ヒドロキノン、d)メチルヒドロキノン、e)レゾルシノールとヒドロキノン、f)レゾルシノールとヒドロキノンとメチルヒドロキノン又はg)ヒドロキノンとメチルヒドロキノンから誘導された繰返し単位を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネート生成物がさらに、以下の構造IIのビスフェノール、以下の構造IIIのジヒドロキシベンゼン、並びに以下の構造IV及びVのジヒドロキシナフタレンからなる群から選択される1種以上のジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物から誘導された繰返し単位を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- ビスフェノールIIが、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン(ビスフェノール−A)、ビス(4−ヒドロキシ−3−メチルフェニル)シクロヘキサン、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロキシ−3−メチルフェニル)プロパン、ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)メタン、1,1−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)エタン、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)ブタン、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)オクタン、2,2−ビス(3−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシ−フェニル)プロパン、1,1−ビス(3−sec−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロキシ−3−ブロモフェニル)プロパン、1,1−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)シクロペンタン、1,1−ビス(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)シクロヘキサン及び4,4’−ジヒドロキシジフェニルエーテルからなる群から選択される、請求項3記載の方法。
- 構造IIのジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物がビスフェノールA及び4,4’−ビフェノールからなる群から選択される、請求項3記載の方法。
- 構造IIIのジヒドロキシベンゼンが5−フェニルレゾルシノール、5−ブチルレゾルシノール、4−ヘキシルレゾルシノール、5−ヘキシルレゾルシノール、エチルヒドロキノン、ブチルヒドロキノン及びフェニルヒドロキノンからなる群から選択される、請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネートが、a)ヒドロキノンとビスフェノールA、b)レゾルシノールとビスフェノールA、c)メチルヒドロキノンとビスフェノールA、d)メチルレゾルシノールとビスフェノールA、e)レゾルシノールとヒドロキノンとビスフェノールA又はf)レゾルシノールとヒドロキノンとメチルヒドロキノンとビスフェノールAから誘導された繰返し単位を含む、請求項5記載の方法。
- レゾルシノールとビスフェノールAから誘導された繰返し単位を含むポリカーボネートの製造方法であって、水酸化ナトリウム及び第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウム化合物を含む触媒の存在下、0.01〜760mmHgの範囲の圧力で、レゾルシノール及びビスフェノールAの混合物を、ビスフェノールA及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり0.8〜1.10モルのビス−メチルサリチルカーボネートと共に、140〜240℃の範囲の温度に加熱することを含んでなり、水酸化ナトリウムがビスフェノールA及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり1×10-5〜1×10-8モルの水酸化ナトリウムの範囲の量で存在し、第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウム化合物がビスフェノールA及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり2.5×10-3〜2.5×10-6モルの第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウムの量で存在する、方法。
- レゾルシノールとヒドロキノンとビスフェノールAから誘導された繰返し単位を含むポリカーボネートターポリマーの製造方法であって、水酸化ナトリウム及び第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウム化合物を含む触媒の存在下、0.01〜760mmHgの範囲の圧力で、レゾルシノール、ヒドロキノン及びビスフェノールAの混合物を、ビスフェノールA、ヒドロキノン及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり0.8〜1.10モルのビス−メチルサリチルカーボネートと共に、140〜240℃の範囲の温度に加熱することを含んでなり、水酸化ナトリウムがビスフェノールA、ヒドロキノン及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり1×10-5〜1×10-8モルの水酸化ナトリウムの範囲の量で存在し、第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウム化合物がビスフェノールA、ヒドロキノン及びレゾルシノールの合計1モル当たり2.5×10-3〜2.5×10-6モルの第四アンモニウム化合物又は第四ホスホニウムの量で存在する。方法。
