Abstract
【解決手段】固定側部材4と回転側部材3との間を密封するよう構成される密封装置Aであって、スリンガ8が、回転側部材3に嵌合される嵌合円筒部8aと、該嵌合円筒部8aの被密封部位Sに対して外側に位置する一端部にその径方向に延出形成された鍔状部8bとよりなり、芯金6は、少なくとも固定側部材4に嵌合される嵌合円筒部6aを備え、該嵌合円筒部6aの被密封部位Sに対して外側に位置する一端部6cは、上記スリンガ8における鍔状部8bの被密封部位S側内面位置Fより被密封部位S側に位置し、且つ上記シールリップ部の一部7cが上記芯金6の嵌合円筒部6a一端部6c近傍より突出しスリンガ8の延出端面8cに弾性摺接するよう形成されていることを特徴とする。

Claims (4)
- 回転側部材に嵌合固着されるスリンガと、固定側部材に嵌合固着される芯金と、上記スリンガに弾性摺接する複数のシールリップ部を備えて上記芯金に固着された弾性シール部材とよりなり、これらが組合わさって、上記固定側部材と上記回転側部材との間を密封するよう構成される密封装置であって、
上記スリンガが、回転側部材に嵌合される嵌合円筒部と、該嵌合円筒部の被密封部位に対して外側に位置する一端部にその径方向に延出形成された鍔状部とよりなり、上記芯金は、少なくとも固定側部材に嵌合される嵌合円筒部を備え、該嵌合円筒部の被密封部位に対して外側に位置する一端部は、上記スリンガにおける鍔状部の被密封部位側内面位置より被密封部位側に位置し、且つ上記シールリップ部の一部が上記芯金の嵌合円筒部一端部近傍より突出しスリンガの延出端面に弾性摺接するよう形成されていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1に記載の密封装置において、
前記鍔状部の延出端面が、テーパー面とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の密封装置において、
前記弾性シール部材が、前記芯金の嵌合円筒部一端部を包囲し固定側部材との嵌合面にまで及ぶよう延出され、この延出部分の周面には固定側部材との間に弾性密嵌される環状の隆起帯が形成されていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の密封装置において、
前記スリンガにおける鍔状部の外面には、周方向に沿って多数のN極、S極が交互に着磁され、固定側に固設された磁気センサーとにより磁気エンコーダを構成するトーンホイールが貼着一体とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。
