Abstract
【解決手段】クリップ部9bの弾性力によりセンサ12のヘッドをクリップオン式に装着できる鋼鉄製センサホルダ6に、カチオン電着塗装を施して耐食性を向上させることにより、装置全体の信頼性を向上させた。

Description
上記センサホルダは、外方部材のインナー側の端部外周面に嵌合する環状リング部と、センサのヘッドを挿し入れる枠形をした収容ポケットとからなり、枠形をした収容ポケットには、バネ性を有するクリップ部を有し、クリップ部の弾性力によりセンサのヘッドをクリップオン式に装着できるようにしている。
カチオン電着塗装は、電気亜鉛メッキよりも耐食性に格段優れており、センサホルダの腐食を長期間に亘って防止できる。
枠形をした収容ポケット9は、パルス発生器8に対面する背面位置に窓孔9cと、両側面に、センサ12のヘッドに形成されたガイド溝12aに係合するガイド部9aと、前面の係止溝12bに嵌合するバネ性を有するクリップ部9bとを有する。
この発明に係るカチオン電着塗装を施したセンサホルダと、電気亜鉛メッキを施した従来のセンサホルダとの耐食試験の結果は次の通りである。
耐食試験は、中性塩水噴霧サイクル試験 JASO M609に基づき、35℃の5%塩化ナトリウムNaCl(pH6.5〜7.2)を2時間噴霧した後、60℃、湿度30%以下で、4時間乾燥し、その後、50℃、湿度95%以上の湿潤状態で2時間放置を1サイクルとして、42サイクルした後の状態を比較した。
耐食試験に供したこの発明に係るカチオン電着塗装を施したセンサホルダの塗装膜の厚みは、10μm、電気亜鉛メッキを施した従来のセンサホルダのメッキの厚みは、5μmであった。
電気亜鉛メッキを施した従来のセンサホルダは、全面的に赤錆が発生するほど腐食が進行していたが、この発明のカチオン電着塗装を施したセンサホルダは、ほとんど赤錆の発生が見られなかった。

Claims (1)
- 内周に複数の転走面を有する外方部材と、上記転走面の各々に対向する転走面を有する内方部材と、上記外方部材と内方部材の対向する転走面間に介在する複列の転動体とを有し、上記外方部材と内方部材のうちの回転側部材にパルス発生器を設け、センサを静止側部材に対向配置し、このセンサを挿し入れる収容ポケットを有する鋼鉄製のセンサホルダを外方部材の端部に装着し、この収容ポケットに、センサの前面中央を背面側の外方部材の外端面に押し付けてセンサを固定するクリップ部を設けた回転速度検出装置付き軸受装置において、上記センサホルダに、カチオン電着塗装を施したことを特徴とする回転速度検出装置付き軸受装置。
