Abstract
【解決手段】 エンジン1の排気系に配設され、排気中の窒素酸化物を尿素水により還元浄化する還元触媒4と、前記尿素水を貯蔵した尿素水タンク6と、高圧エアと混合して該尿素水タンク6から尿素水を吸い上げて高圧エアと混合して送出する尿素水供給手段7と、高圧エアと混合された前記尿素水を前記排気系の排気管3内にて前記還元触媒4の排気上流側に噴射する噴射ノズル5とを備えたエンジンの排気浄化装置であって、前記尿素水供給手段7に導入されるエアの圧力及び前記噴射ノズル5の温度の各検出出力に基づいて前記噴射ノズルの詰まりを検出する詰まり検出手段8を備えたものである。

Description
先ず、ステップS1においては、詰まり検出手段8は、上記圧力センサー18によって検出されて出力する混合部13に導入される高圧エアの圧力P値を読み込む。
また、還元剤として尿素水を使用した場合について説明したが、これに限られず、排気を浄化するために好適な他の還元剤、例えばアンモニア水溶液を使用してもよい。

Claims (4)
- エンジンの排気系に配設され、排気中の窒素酸化物を還元剤により還元浄化する還元触媒と、前記還元剤を貯蔵した還元剤タンクと、該還元剤タンクから還元剤を吸い上げて高圧エアと混合して送出する還元剤供給手段と、高圧エアと混合された前記還元剤を前記排気系の排気通路内にて前記還元触媒の排気上流側に噴射する噴射ノズルとを備えたエンジンの排気浄化装置であって、
前記還元剤供給手段に導入される高圧エアの圧力及び前記噴射ノズルの温度の各検出出力に基づいて前記噴射ノズルの詰まりを検出する詰まり検出手段を備えたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記詰まり検出手段は、前記還元剤供給手段に導入される高圧エアの圧力を所定の閾値と比較する第1の比較器と、前記噴射ノズルの温度を所定の閾値と比較する第2の比較器と、前記各比較器の出力の論理積をとる論理演算回路と、前記高圧エアの圧力及び前記噴射ノズルの温度が共に閾値を超えているときの前記論理演算回路の出力に基づいて噴射ノズルの詰まりを判定し、詰まりの発生を示す信号を出力する判定部とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記還元剤供給手段に導入される高圧エアは、流量が一定に調整されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第2の比較器の閾値は、前記還元剤の融点以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の排気浄化装置。
