Description
以下、本発明にかかる走行支援装置を、ディーゼルエンジンを搭載した車両に適用した第1の実施形態を図面を参照しつつ説明する。
以下、第2の実施形態について、上記第1の実施形態との相違点を中心に図面を参照しつつ説明する。
以下、第3の実施形態について、上記第2の実施形態との相違点を中心に図面を参照しつつ説明する。
Claims (6)
- 排気系の排気を吸気系に還流させる排気還流装置を備える内燃機関を原動機とする車両について、該車両の走行により前記内燃機関の排気中の窒素酸化物を浄化するために消費されて補給所により補給される尿素水溶液を管理する走行支援装置において、
前記補給所と前記車両との間の走行条件に関する情報と、前記車両に残存する前記尿素水溶液の量とに基づき、前記車両が前記尿素水溶液を欠乏させることなく前記補給所へ到達することのできる前記車両の運転条件を演算する演算手段と、
前記演算手段による演算結果に基づき、前記吸気系に還流させる排気量を増量側に制限する手段とを備えることを特徴とする走行支援装置。 - 前記補給所と前記車両との間の走行条件に関する情報には、前記補給所と前記車両との高度差、前記補給所と前記車両との間の路面の高度変化、前記車両を取り巻く大気の状態についての情報の少なくとも1つが含まれる請求項1記載の走行支援装置。
- 前記演算手段は、前記補給所と前記車両との間の走行条件に関する情報に基づき、前記車両に残存する前記尿素水溶液の量が前記補給所への到達に十分であるか否かを判断し、前記補給所への到達に十分でないと判断するとき、前記演算を行なう請求項1又は2記載の走行支援装置。
- 前記排気量の制限態様を、前記補給所と前記車両との間の走行条件、及び前記車両に残存する前記尿素水溶液の量の少なくとも一方に応じて可変設定する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の走行支援装置。
- 前記排気量の制限態様を、前記補給所と前記車両との間の走行条件に応じて可変設定する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の走行支援装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の走行支援装置において、
前記制限が加えられるとき、その旨を通知する手段を更に備えることを特徴とする走行支援装置。
