Abstract
【解決手段】 十字軸1のトラニオン11を支持する軸受カップ3にキー部31が一体形成され、そのキー部31がヨーク4のキー溝41に嵌まり込んだ状態でボルト5により軸受カップ3をヨーク4に接合固定したブロックタイプのユニバーサルジョイントにおいて、キー部31の両側面に、WC−Ni−Cr溶射皮膜6を形成することにより、キー部31の耐食性を向上させ、圧延機の駆動系等に長期にわたって使用しても、キー部31の腐食に起因するキー溝41との間の隙間の発生を防止し、軸受寿命の向上とボルト5に対する過大な曲げ荷重の作用を防止して、長期にわたって安定した性能を維持することのできるユニバーサルジョイントを得る。

Description
図1は本発明の実施の形態のトラニオンおよび軸受カップの軸直交断面図であり、図2はその軸受カップのキー部の一側面の拡大図である。
試験片は直径80mmのSNCM815製プレートを浸炭焼入れしたものを用いて、その表面にWC−27NiCrを用いたWC−Ni−Cr溶射皮膜を膜厚0.1mmで形成したもの(実施例)のほか、同じプレートの表面にNi溶射皮膜を膜厚0.2mmで形成したもの(比較例1)、および表面に何も皮膜を形成しないもの(比較例2)を用意した。
試験片は直径61mmのSNCM815製プレートに浸炭焼入れしたものを用いて、上記と同様の厚さ0.1mmのWC−Ni−Cr溶射皮膜を形成したもの(実施例)と、同じく厚さ0.2mmのNi溶射皮膜を形成したもの(比較例1)を用意した。

Claims (3)
- 十字軸の各トラニオンを針状ころを介してそれぞれ支持する軸受カップが、それぞれ浸炭焼入れ鋼により形成され、かつ、ボルトによりヨークに接合固定されているとともに、この各軸受カップのヨークに対する接合面には、ヨーク側に向けて突出するキー部が形成され、ヨークにはそのキー部が嵌まり込むキー溝が形成されてなるユニバーサルジョイントにおいて、
上記キー部の両側面が、WC−Ni−Cr溶射皮膜で覆われていることを特徴とするユニバーサルジョイント。 - 上記WC−Ni−Cr溶射皮膜に、シリカ系樹脂を用いた封孔処理が施されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニバーサルジョイント。
- 上記ヨークのキー溝の内面が、ステンレス合金からなる肉盛り層で覆われていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のユニバーサルジョイント。
