Abstract
【解決手段】 印刷システム10は、複数のマーキングエンジン12、14と用紙給送装置と媒体出口搬送部と、書類を第1速度でシステムを通して搬送するためのハイウェイ通路24と、ハイウェイ通路24と少なくとも1つのマーキングエンジン12との間に配置された反転器92とを備え、反転器92は、書類を第2速度(画像形成のために、第1速度より遅い速度)で少なくとも1つのマーキングエンジン12を通して選択的に反転させて搬送し、第1速度と第2速度との間の差をバッファ(緩衝:第1速度と第2速度との速度の違いによる影響を防止すること)する構成である。

Claims (3)
- 複数のマーキングエンジンと媒体給送装置と媒体出口搬送部と、
書類を第1速度でシステムを通して搬送するためのハイウェイ通路と、
前記ハイウェイ通路と少なくとも1つの前記マーキングエンジンとの間に配置された反転器とを備え、
前記反転器は、書類を第2速度で少なくとも1つの前記マーキングエンジンを通して選択的に反転させて搬送し、且つ、前記第1速度と前記第2速度との間の差をバッファ(緩衝)する構成である、
ことを特徴とする印刷システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記第1速度が前記第2速度より速いことを特徴とするシステム。
- 書類の制御を向上し、搬送通路距離を減少させるように、印刷システムを通って搬送される書類を処理する方法であって、前記印刷システムが、書類を把持するためのニップ駆動ローラと該ローラに関連する可変速度の駆動モータとからなる反転器組立体と、マーキングエンジンとを含んでいる、前記方法において、
前記書類を第1速度で前記反転器組立体に搬送し、
前記書類を前記反転器組立体において反転させ、
前記書類を第2速度で前記反転器組立体の外に搬送することから成り
前記第1速度と前記第2速度との間の差が前記反転器組立体によりバッファ(緩衝)される、
ことを特徴とする方法。
