Abstract
【解決手段】RFIDリーダに適用するアンテナアレイであって、第一の周波数で動作するように同調させた第一の読取りアンテナと、第一の周波数と異なる第二の周波数で動作するように同調させた第二の読取りアンテナとを備える。第一及び第二のアンテナは、自己共振の影響を減少させるために、オーバーラップ配置または磁束対向配置で配置される。

Description
アンテナ入力線42、44は、リーダアンテナ34、38及び組み合わせる同調用キャパシタ36、40それぞれと、シグナル生成部24とを直接接続するように示されている。しかしながら、リーダアンテナ34、38及び同調用キャパシタ36、40を組み合わせ、アンテナ入力線42、44を介してシグナル生成部24に連結するにあたっては、さらに間接的な結合を含む連結であってもよく、当業者の技術範囲において、一つ以上の電子構成要素を追加し、シグナル生成部24とリーダアンテナ34、38及び同調用キャパシタ36、40との間をつなぐアンテナ入力線42、44の経路中に配置してもよい。
リーダアンテナ群は、図1では、概略的にコイルとして表されており、それぞれ、一つのらせん状の巻線として表されたリーダアンテナ34あるいはリーダアンテナ38を含む。しかしながら、本発明では、リーダアンテナ34、38を、当業者に周知の実質的に実用のある構成要素によって構成することもできる。例えば、リーダアンテナ34、38は、例示した一つの巻線に代えて、複数の巻線にすることもできる。さらに、リーダアンテナ34、38は、例示したらせんに代えて、実質的に実用的な形状、例えば、矩形、円形、楕円形などの形状であってもよい。リーダアンテナ34、38は、図1では、相互に近接し平行して配置された概念で表されている。しかしながら、アンテナ34、38相互の配置は、以下に示すように本発明の記載に関連してより有利な特定の配置を採ることもできる。
Claims (17)
- 第一の周波数で動作するように同調させた第一のリーダアンテナと、
前記第一の周波数と異なる第二の周波数で動作するように同調させた第二のリーダアンテナとを備えるRFIDリーダのアンテナアレイ。 - 前記第一の周波数が、公称125kHzである請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第二の周波数が、13.56MHzである請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 第一及び第二のアンテナを格納するリーダハウジングを更に備える請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一及び第二のアンテナが、オーバーラップ配置で配置されている請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一のリーダアンテナは第一の領域を有し、前記第二のリーダアンテナは第二の領域を有し、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナは、前記第一の領域の一部分が前記第二の領域の一部分と重なるように相互に関連して配置されている請求項5記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一のリーダアンテナは第一の領域を有し、前記第二のリーダアンテナは前記第一の領域と本質的に同じ第二の領域を有し、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナは同方向の交信角度を有し、前記第一の領域の本質的半分が前記第二の領域の本質的半分と重なるように相互に関連して配置される請求項5記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナが、磁束対向配置で配置されている請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一のリーダアンテナは第一の領域を有し、前記第二のリーダアンテナは第二の領域を有し、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナは、前記第一の領域の一部分が前記第二の領域の一部分と重なるように相互に関連して配置される請求項8記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一のリーダアンテナは第一の領域を有し、前記第二のリーダアンテナは前記第一の領域と本質的に同じ第二の領域を有し、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナは同方向の交信角度を有し、前記第一の領域の本質的半分が前記第二の領域の本質的半分と重なるように相互に関連して配置される請求項8記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナが、前記磁束対向配置とともにオーバーラップ配置で配置されている請求項8記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナが、シグナル生成部と連結している請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記シグナル生成部は、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナからの送信シグナルを生成するための必須の手段を有する統合型のシグナル生成部である請求項12記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記シグナル生成部は、前記第一のリーダアンテナからの送信シグナルを生成し、前記第一のリーダアンテナと連結する個別第一シグナル生成部と、前記第二のリーダアンテナからの送信シグナルを生成し、前記第二のリーダアンテナと連結する前記個別第一のシグナル生成部から分離された個別第二シグナル生成部とを有する請求項12記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナが、受信電子回路と連結している請求項1記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記受信電子回路は、前記第一及び第二のリーダアンテナが受信したシグナルを処理するための必須の手段を有する統合型の受信電子回路である請求項15記載のアンテナアレイ。
- 前記受信電子回路は、前記第一のリーダアンテナが受信したシグナルを処理するための、前記第一のリーダアンテナと連結する個別第一受信電子回路と、前記第二のリーダアンテナが受信したシグナルを処理するための、前記第二のリーダアンテナと連結する前記個別第一受信電子回路から分離された個別第二受信電子回路とを有する請求項15記載のアンテナアレイ。
