Claims (15)
- 全体を形成する壁と、前記壁の周囲に冷却材を流すための冷却通路と、前記壁の上端において半径方向の内側に設けられた金属リングと、前記金属リングと前記壁との間に設けられた絶縁リングと、を有する内燃機関用のシリンダであって、前記金属リングは前記壁よりも高熱に耐えることが可能であり、前記絶縁リングは前記金属リングの上端から前記金属リングの長さの一部だけに延びて断熱層を形成し、前記絶縁リングの近傍において前記金属リングから前記壁への熱伝導を減少させることを特徴とする、内燃機関用のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングは、前記金属リングの軸方向の半分未満の長さである、請求項1に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングは、前記金属リングの軸方向の4分の1未満の長さである、請求項1に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングの軸方向の長さは、前記シリンダ穴の長さの10%未満である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングの軸方向の長さは、前記シリンダ穴の長さの5%未満である、請求項4に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングはセラミック製である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングはセラミックテープである、請求項6に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングは前記金属リング及び/又はライナー上に噴射形成される、請求項6に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記絶縁リングは空隙である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記壁は外面部とライナーとを有しており、前記絶縁リングは前記ライナーと前記金属リングとの間に設けられている、請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記金属リングは、耐熱合金製である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記金属リングはニッケル合金製である、請求項11に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記金属リングはニモニック合金製である、請求項12に記載のシリンダ。
- 前記金属リングはシリンダ穴内にわずかに突出しており、前記ピストンに対する摩耗防止リングとして機能する、請求項1〜13のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
- 前記冷却通路は、前記シリンダの軸心の周囲をらせん状に延びている、請求項1〜14のいずれか1つに記載のシリンダ。
