Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、マルチチップLEDパッケージ(102)からの光特性を維持する方法、システム、及び構造を提供する。このことは、所望の光出力を選択して、マルチチップLEDパッケージ内の複数の発光ダイオードからの光を制限することによって行うことができる。このことは、制限した光を測定して、測定した光出力を所望の光と比較して、測定した光にもとづいて、マルチチップLEDパッケージ内のLED(150)への電流を調整することによっても行うことができる。
Description
Claims (13)
- マルチチップ発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージからの光特性を維持するシステムであって、
少なくとも1つの光センサへの透過光を制限して、制限された光信号を生成する手段と;
前記制限された光信号を、前記少なくとも1つの光センサによって測定して、検出光信号を生成する手段と;
前記検光信号を、所望の光信号と比較する手段と;
前記比較にもとづいて、前記マルチチップLEDパッケージ上の少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードへの電流を調整する手段と
を具えていることを特徴とする光特性維持システム。 - さらに、所望の光信号を、入力装置を介して制御装置に供給する手段を具えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- さらに、
前記マルチチップLEDパッケージ内の温度を測定する手段と;
前記測定した温度を所望の温度と比較する手段と;
前記比較にもとづいて、前記少なくとも1つのLEDへの電流を調整する手段と
を具えていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のシステム。 - 前記光センサを、フォトダイオード及び光導電体から成るグループから選択したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムに、前記光センサにフィルタをかけるためのフィルタを設けたことを特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4に記載のシステム。
- 前記透過光を制限する手段が、前記少なくとも1つの光センサをエンクロージャ内に配置することから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記エンクロージャが、少なくとも1つの開口を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記エンクロージャが白色の内壁を具えていることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のシステム。
- 前記マルチチップLEDパッケージ内の前記発光ダイオードが、赤色光、緑色光、及び青色光を発光する複数の発光ダイオードから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光センサによる透過光の測定に、時間多重サンプリングを行う手段を含めたことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記電流を調整する手段が、制御システムを用いて、選択した発光ダイオードへの電流を調整することから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- マルチチップ発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージからの光特性を維持する構造であって、
複数のLEDと;
前記複数のLEDからの光出力の相当量を受けるべく配置した少なくとも1つのエンクロージャと;
前記エンクロージャ内に配置され、前記複数のLEDからの光出力を測定する少なくとも1つの光センサと;
前記LEDに動作的に接続されて、前記測定した光出力にもとづいて、前記LEDへの電流を制御するコントローラと
を具えていることを特徴とする光特性維持構造。 - さらに、
少なくとも1つの温度センサと;
前記LEDに動作的に接続されて、前記測定した温度にもとづいて、前記LEDへの電流を制御するコントローラと
を具えていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の構造。
