Abstract
【解決手段】セラミック粉末と、成形助剤と、造孔剤として懸濁重合された非架橋性のポリスチレン、又はスチレン−アクリル共重合体から成る樹脂ビーズとを混合して粉末原料を得る工程と、該粉末原料を成形することで所望形状のセラミック成形体を得る工程と、該セラミック成形体を脱脂、加熱焼結させることで摺部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体を製造する。

Description
0.5重量%のシリカを含んだ炭化珪素粉末100重量%に対し、焼結助剤として3.7重量%のアルミナ粉末、0.6重量%のイットリア粉末と、122重量%の水、分散剤として0.3重量%のアンモニア水及び84重量%のウレタンボールとをボールミルに投入後、48時間混合してスラリー化した。
0.5重量%のシリカを含んだ炭化珪素粉末100重量%に対し、焼結助剤として3.7重量%のアルミナ粉末、0.6重量%のイットリア粉末と、122重量%の水、分散剤として0.3重量%のアンモニア水及び84重量%のウレタンボールとをボールミルに投入後、48時間混合してスラリー化した。

Claims (15)
- セラミック粉末と、成形助剤と、造孔剤として懸濁重合された非架橋性のポリスチレン、又はスチレン−アクリル共重合体から成る樹脂ビーズとを混合して粉末原料を得る工程と、該粉末原料を成形することで所望形状のセラミック成形体を得る工程と、該セラミック成形体を脱脂、加熱焼結させることでセラミック焼結体を得る工程とを具備することを特徴とする摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記セラミック粉末が炭化珪素質粉末であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記セラミック粉末に焼結助剤としてアルミニウム酸化物、希土類酸化物、珪素酸化物のうち少なくとも1種を添加したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記焼結助剤がセラミック粉末に対して、1〜15重量%であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記成形助剤としてグリセリン、アクリル樹脂、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを併用して使用することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記成形助剤がセラミック粉末に対して、3〜10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記造孔剤として用いる樹脂ビーズが、上記セラミック粉末と成形助剤を合せた100重量%に対して、7〜11重量%配合されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記セラミック成形体の弾性回復率が0.7%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記セラミック成形体の熱膨張率が0.7%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の製造方法を用いて得られることを特徴とする摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体。
- 気孔率が13〜18体積%であるとともに、平均気孔径が20〜40μmであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体。
- 結晶の平均アスペクト比が3未満であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体。
- 4点曲げ強度が200MPa以上であることを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体。
- 請求項10〜13のいずれかに記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体を用いたメカニカルシールにおけるシールリング。
- 自動車の冷却水ポンプに用いることを特徴とする請求項14記載のシールリング。
