Description
0.5重量%のシリカを含んだ炭化珪素粉末100重量%に対し、焼結助剤として3.7重量%のアルミナ粉末及び0.6重量%のイットリア粉末と、122重量%の水と、分散剤として0.3重量%のアンモニア水及び84重量%のウレタンボールとをボールミルに投入後、48時間混合してスラリー化した。
0.5重量%のシリカを含んだ炭化珪素粉末100重量%に対し、焼結助剤として3.7重量%のアルミナ粉末及び0.6重量%のイットリア粉末と、122重量%の水、分散剤として0.3重量%のアンモニア水及び84重量%のウレタンボールとをボールミルに投入後、48時間混合してスラリー化した。

Claims (5)
- セラミック粉末である炭化珪素質粉末と、上記セラミック粉末に対して3〜10重量%のグリセリン,アクリル樹脂及びソルビタン脂肪酸エステルからなる成形助剤と、上記セラミック粉末に対して1〜15重量%のアルミニウム酸化物,希土類酸化物及び珪素酸化物のうち少なくとも1種からなる焼結助剤と、上記セラミック粉末と成形助剤とを合わせた100重量%に対して7〜11重量%の懸濁重合された非架橋性のポリスチレン又はスチレン−アクリル共重合体からなる樹脂ビーズである造孔剤とを混合して粉末原料を得る工程と、該粉末原料を成形することで所望形状のセラミック成形体を得る工程と、該セラミック成形体を脱脂、加熱焼結させることで、気孔率が13〜18体積%であるとともに平均気孔径が20〜40μmのセラミック焼結体を得る工程とを具備することを特徴とする摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 上記セラミック成形体の弾性回復率及び熱膨張係数が0.7%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法を用いて得られるセラミック焼結体を構成する結晶の平均アスペクト比が3未満であり、4点曲げ強度が200MPa以上であることを特徴とする摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体。
- 請求項3に記載の摺動部材用多孔質セラミック焼結体を用いたメカニカルシールにおけるシールリング。
- 自動車の冷却水ポンプに用いることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシールリング。
