Abstract
【解決手段】 白色光を照射する光源と、光源から出射した光束を反射するリフレクタと、照明光束を変調するライトバルブと、ライトバルブ上の映像を投射する投射レンズからなるプロジェクタ装置において、リフレクタがSc,Y,La,Pr,Nd,Pm,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Luの群のうちの少なくとも1種の希土類元素を含有するSiO2を主成分とするガラスからなり、ガラスの熱膨張係数は40×10-7/℃より小さく、転移温度は500℃より大きい。

Description
まず、本発明で用いたガラス材について説明する。本発明のガラス材は以下のようにして作製した。所定量の原料粉末を白金製のルツボに入れ、混合後、電気炉中で1600℃で溶解した。原料が十分に溶解した後、白金製の攪拌羽根をガラス融液に挿入して攪拌した。攪拌したガラス融液を約400℃に加熱した黒鉛製の型に流し込んだ後、歪取り処理を行い、ガラスブロックを作製した。このガラスブロックより各種評価用試験片を作製した。
Claims (9)
- 光源を収容する本体と、前記本体の内面に形成された反射膜とを備えるリフレクタにおいて、
前記本体は、SiO2を主成分とし、Sc,Y,La,Pr,Nd,Pm,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Luのうち少なくとも1種の希土類元素を含有するガラスからなり、
前記ガラスは、熱膨張係数が40×10-7/℃より小さく、転移温度が500℃より大きいことを特徴とするリフレクタ。 - 請求項1記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスは、前記希土類元素をLn2O3(Lnは希土類元素)の酸化物換算で1〜30重量%含有することを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 請求項1記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスは、前記希土類元素をLn2O3(Lnは希土類元素)の酸化物換算で5〜20重量%含有することを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスは、少なくともSiO2を45〜75重量%、B2O3を0〜20重量%、Al2O3を0〜30重量%、R2O(Rはアルカリ金属)を0〜10重量%、ReO(Reはアルカリ土類金属)を0〜15重量%含有することを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスは、少なくともSiO2を50〜70重量%、B2O3を5〜15重量%、Al2O3を10〜25重量%、R2O(Rはアルカリ金属)を0〜5重量%、ReO(Reはアルカリ土類金属)を0〜10重量%含有することを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスの熱膨張係数が35×10-7/℃より小さいことを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタにおいて、前記ガラスの転移温度が600℃より大きいことを特徴とするリフレクタ。
- 光源と、反射面を有し前記光源から発生した光を光軸方向に沿う照明光束として出射するリフレクタと、前記照明光束を変調するライトバルブと、前記ライトバルブによって変調された映像光を投射する投射レンズとを含む投射型表示装置において、
前記リフレクタとして請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタを用いることを特徴とする投射型表示装置。 - 反射面を有し光源から発生した光を光軸方向に沿う照明光束に変換するリフレクタと、前記リフレクタの前部に配置された前面板と、前記リフレクタと前記前面板とによって形成される空間の内部に設置された光源とを備える投光装置において
前記リフレクタとして請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載のリフレクタを用い、
前記前面板は、SiO2を主成分とし、Sc,Y,La,Pr,Nd,Pm,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Luのうち少なくとも1種の希土類元素を含有し、かつ、熱膨張係数が40×10-7/℃より小さく、転移温度が500℃より大きいガラスからなることを特徴とする投光装置。
