Abstract
【解決手段】 一次巻線および二次巻線を有する点火コイルと、点火プラグとを備えた、内燃機関の燃焼室におけるイオン化電流を測定するための回路である。点火プラグは燃焼室内の燃料混合気を点火し、点火コイルからの点火電圧に応答して点火電流を発生する。点火コイルによって充電されるコンデンサは燃焼室における燃料混合気の点火後にイオン化電流を発生するバイアス電圧を提供する。電流ミラー回路はイオン化電流に比例したアイソレートされた電流信号を発生する。本発明では点火電流とイオン化電流とは点火コイルの二次巻線を同じ方向に流れる。充電されたコンデンサは電源として作動するので、点火コイルは充電されたコンデンサから電流ミラー回路および点火コイルを通って点火プラグまで流れる。

Description
GINを受信する。このような回路構造では、IGBT22はOFF状態、すなわち非導通状態、およびON状態、すなわち導通状態を有するスイッチとして作動する。
IMIRRORを発生する。コンデンサ28から第2ノード48へ流れる(図1では仮想線、すなわち二点鎖線で示された)バイアス電流IBIASはイオン化電流
IIONとアイソレートされたミラー電流IMIRROR(すなわちIBIAS=IION+
IMIRROR)との合計に等しい。

Claims (4)
- 点火コイルの一次巻線にフライバック電圧を発生する工程と、
コンデンサを充電する工程と、
前記点火コイルの二次巻線を通して点火プラグの両端にバイアス電圧を印加し、イオン化電流を発生する工程と、
前記イオン化電流に比例したミラー電流を発生する工程と、
を有することを特徴とする燃焼室内のイオン化電流を測定する方法。 - 一次巻線および二次巻線を備えた点火コイルと、
前記一次巻線の第1端部に作動的に接続されたバッテリーと、
前記二次巻線の第1端部とアース電位との間に作動的に接続された点火プラグと、
前記一次巻線の第2端部に作動的に接続された第1端部を有するコンデンサと、
前記二次巻線の第2端部に作動的に接続された第1ターミナルおよび前記コンデンサの前記第1端部に作動的に接続された第2ターミナルを有する電流ミラーと、
前記一次巻線に作動的に接続されたスイッチと、
を有することを特徴とするイオン化検出回路。 - 前記点火プラグが燃焼室内の燃料混合気を点火し、前記点火コイルからの点火電圧に応答して点火電流を発生し、前記点火コイルによって充電される前記コンデンサが前記燃焼室における前記燃料混合気の点火後にイオン化電流を発生するバイアス電流を供給し、前記電流ミラーが前記イオン化電流に比例したアイソレートされたミラー電流を発生する請求項2記載のイオン化検出回路。
- 前記電流ミラーが一対のマッチングされたトランジスタを有する請求項2記載のイオン化検出回路。
