- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.C9+芳香族炭化水素化合物をより軽質の芳香族生成物に転化する方法で あって、(i)C9+芳香族炭化水素化合物および(ii)トルエンまたはベンゼ ンを、トランスアルキル化反応条件の下で、0.5〜3の範囲の拘束指数を有す るゼオライトおよび水素化成分を含む第1触媒組成物、ならびに3〜12の範囲 の拘束指数を有し、且つアルミナに対するシリカの比が少なくとも5である中間 孔寸法のゼオライトを含む第2触媒組成物で反応させて、(i)ベンゼンまたは トルエンおよび(ii)キシレンを含むトランスアルキル化反応生成物を製造する 工程を含む方法。 2.ベンゼンを製造する方法であって: (a)(i)C9+芳香族炭化水素化合物および(ii)トルエンまたはベンゼン を、トランスアルキル化反応条件の下で、0.5〜3の範囲の拘束指数を有する ゼオライトおよび水素化成分を含む第1触媒組成物、ならびに3〜12の範囲の 拘束指数を有し、且つアルミナに対するシリカの比が少なくとも5である中間孔 寸法のゼオライトを含む第2触媒組成物で反応させて、(i)ベンゼンまたはト ルエンおよび(ii)キシレンを含む生成物のストリームを生成する工程;ならび に (b)前記生成物のストリームからベンゼンまたはトルエンを蒸留して、ベンゼ ンまたはトルエン生成物を得る工程 を含む方法。 3.工程(b)のベンゼン生成物が少なくとも99.85%の純度を有する請 求の範囲2に記載の方法。 4.工程(b)のベンゼン生成物が少なくとも99.85%の純度を有し、追 加の抽出工程を必要としない請求の範囲3に記載の方法。 5.第1触媒組成物の水素化成分が元素の周期表の第VIII族から選択される少 なくとも1つの金属であり、第1触媒組成物のゼオライトがMCM−22、PS H−3、SSZ−25、ZSM−12およびゼオライト・ベータから成るグルー プから選択される、請求の範囲1に記載の方法。 6.第2触媒成分のゼオライトがZSM−5である、請求の範囲5に記載の方 法。 7.トランスアルキル化反応条件が、650°〜950°Fの範囲の温度、1 00〜600psigの範囲の圧力、および1〜5の範囲である炭化水素に対する水 素のモル比を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の方法。 8.C9+芳香族炭化水素化合物をより軽質の芳香族生成物に転化する方法で あって、(a)(i)C9+芳香族炭化水素化合物および(ii)トルエンまたは ベンゼンを、トランスアルキル化反応条件の下で、0.5〜3の範囲の拘束指数 を有するゼオライトおよび水素化成分を含む第1触媒組成物を含む第1触媒床で 反応させて中間生成物のストリームを生成する工程、ならびに(b)前記中間生 成物のストリームを、3〜12の範囲の拘束指数を有し、且つアルミナに対する シリカの比が少なくとも5である中間孔寸法のゼオライトを含む第2触媒組成物 を含む第2触媒床を通過させて、(i)ベンゼンまたはトルエンおよび(ii)キ シレンを含む最終的なトランスアルキル化反応生成物を製造する工程を含む方法 。
