Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 回転可能光ファイバを備える介在型医療装置と、 光ビームを該回転可能ファイバに伝達するための導管を備えるアッセンブリと 、 該回転可能ファイバの近位端に装着可能な回転可能部、該光ビーム導管を備え る該アッセンブリに装着可能な固定部、および、該回転可能部および該固定部と 連絡状態にあり、そのため該回転可能ファイバが回転し得、一方でその近位端が 該光ビームと軸方向の整列を保つレンズアッセンブリを備える、連結部とを備え る、 接続システム。 2. 前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリは、ローターおよび固定ハ ウジングを更に備える、請求項1に記載の接続システム。 3. 前記ローターに装着されて前記ローターを回転させる駆動機構を更に備 える、請求項2に記載の接続システム。 4. 前記光ビーム導管は、固定ファイバを備える、請求項1に記載の接続シ ステム。 5. 前記レンズアッセンブリは、前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向に整列 する、固定ロッドレンズを備える、請求項1に記載の接続システム。 6. 前記連結部の前記固定部が前記固定ファイバを備える前記アッセンブリ に係合する時は、前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端は、前記固定ファイバの遠 位端と軸方向に整列するが、僅かに間隔を設けて離される、請求項4に記載の接 続システム。 7. 前記光ビーム導管は、前記光ビームが通る開放空間を備える、請求項1 に記載の接続システム。 8. 前記レンズアッセンブリは、前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端と軸方 向に整列する、回転可能ロッドレンズを備える、請求項1に記載の接続システム 。 9. 前記介在型医療装置は画像化カテーテルまたはガイドワイヤを備える、 請求項1に記載の接続システム。 10. 前記介在型医療装置は、分光検査カテーテルまたはガイドワイヤを備え る、請求項1に記載の接続システム。 11. 回転可能光ファイバと、 ローター、固定ハウジング、および光ビームを該回転可能ファイバに伝達する ための導管を備えるアッセンブリと、 固定部および回転可能部を備える連結部であって、該固定部は該固定ハウジン グに装着可能であり、該回転可能部は該回転可能ファイバの近位端および該ロー ターに装着可能で、該回転可能ファイバが該ローターと共に回転し得る一方で、 該回転可能ファイバは該光ビームと軸方向整列を保ち、該回転可能部の該近位端 は、該ローターの遠位端表面と相補形をなす、V字型連結表面を備える、連結部 とを備える、 接続システム。 12. 前記光ビーム導管は固定光ファイバを備える、請求項11に記載の接続シ ステム。 13. 前記連結部の前記回転可能部が前記ローターに係合する時は、前記回転 可能ファイバの前記近位端は、前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向に整列するが 、そこから僅かに間隔を設けて離される、請求項12に記載の接続システム。 14. 前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向に整列する固定ロッドレンズを更に 備える、請求項12に記載の接続システム。 15. 前記連結部の前記固定部が前記固定ファイバを備える前記アッセンブリ に係合する時は、前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端は、前記固定ファイバの遠 位端と軸方向整列状態にあるが、そこから僅かに間隔を設けて離される、請求項 12に記載の接続システム。 16. 前記光ビーム導管は、光ビームが通る開放空間を備える、請求項11に記 載の接続システム。 17. 前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端と軸方向に整列する、回転可能ロッ ドレンズを更に備える、請求項11に記載の接続システム。 18. 前記回転可能連結部が前記ローターシャフトに係合する時は、前記回 転可能ロッドレンズは、前記光ビーム導管の遠位端表面と軸方向に整列するが、 そこから僅かに間隔を設けて離される、近位端表面を有する、請求項17に記載の 接続システム。 19. 前記回転可能部は、前記回転可能連結部が前記ローターに係合すときは 、前記ローター上の対応する止めエッジに係合する、止めエッジを備え、前記回 転可能部の止めエッジが前記ローターの前記止めエッジと係合するときは、前記 回転可能部の前記V字型連結部表面は、前記ローターの前記遠位端表面から僅か に間隔を設けて離される、請求項11に記載の接続システム。 20. 回転可能光ファイバと、 ローター、固定ハウジング、および、該回転可能ファイバに光ビームを伝達す るための導管を備えるアッセンブリと、 回転可能部および固定シールドを備える連結部であって、該回転可能部は、該 回転可能光ファイバの近位端および該ローターに装着可能で、該回転可能ファイ バが該ローターと共に回転し得る一方で、該回転可能ファイバは、該光ビームと 軸方向に整列し、該固定シールドは該回転可能部を包囲し、該固定ハウジングに 装着可能であり、該回転可能部および該ローターを一緒に付勢する、連結部とを 備える、 接続システム。 21. 前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジング上にフィットする時は、前記固 定シールドは自動的に前記固定ハウジングと連結する、請求項20に記載の接続シ ステム。 22. 前記固定シールドと前記固定ハウジングとの間に、前記固定シールドお よび前記固定ハウジングを自動的に連結する、干渉フィットが存在する、請求項 21に記載の接続システム。 23. 前記固定シールドおよび前記固定ハウジングは、前記固定シールドおよ び前記固定ハウジングを自動的に連結するために、相互に係合する連結要素を備 える、請求項21に記載の接続システム。 24. 前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジングと自動的に連結するとき固定シ ールドは可聴信号を発生する、請求項20に記載の接続システム。 25. 前記光ビーム導管は、固定光ファイバを備える、請求項20に記載の接続 システム。 26. 前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジングに係合する時は、前記回転可能 ファイバの前記近位端は、前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向整列するが、前記 固定ファイバの遠位端から僅かに間隔を設けて離される、請求項25に記載の接続 システム。 27. 前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向に整列する固定ロッドレンズを更に 備える、請求項25に記載の接続システム。 28. 前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジングに係合する時は、前記回転可能 ファイバの前記近位端は、前記固定ファイバの遠位端と軸方向に整列するが、前 記固定ファイバーの遠位端から僅かに間隔を設けて離される、請求項25に記載の 接続システム。 29. 前記光ビーム導管は、光ビームが通る開放空間を備える、請求項20に記 載の接続システム。 30. 前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端と軸方向に整列する回転可能ロッド レンズを更に備える、請求項20に記載の接続システム。 31. 前記回転可能ロッドレンズは、前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジング に係合する時は、前記光ビーム導管の遠位端表面と軸方向に整列するが、光ビー ム導管の遠位端から僅かに間隔を設けて離される、近位端表面を有する、請求項 30に記載の接続システム。 32. 前記固定シールドと前記連結部の前記回転可能部との間に配置され、前 記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジングに装着される場合、前記回転可能部を前記 ローターに係合させる装置を更に備える、請求項20に記載の接続システム。 33. 前記回転可能部を前記ローターに係合させる装置は、ワッシャを備える 、請求項32に記載の接続システム。 34. 前記固定シールドと前記連結部の前記回転可能部との間に位置決めされ 、前記固定シールドが前記固定ハウジングと連結状態にない場合は、前記固定シ ールドの内部に前記回転可能部を保持する要素を更に備える、請求項20に記載の 接続システム。 35. 前記固定シールド内部に、前記回転可能連結部を保持する前記要素は、 保持クリップを備える、請求項34に記載の接続システム。 36. 回転可能光ファイバと、光ビームを該回転可能光ファイバに伝達するた めの導管を備えるアッセンブリと、 該回転可能光ファイバの近位端に装着可能な回転可能部、および、該光ビーム 導管を備える該アッセンブリに装着可能で、該回転可能光ファイバが回転し得る 一方で、その近位端が光ビームと軸方向に整列を保つ、固定部を有する連結部で あって、該回転可能ファイバは、該固定部が該光ビーム導管を備える該アッセン ブリに係合しない場合は、該回転可能部から離脱され得る、連結部とを備える、 接続システム。 37. 前記固定部が前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリに係合する時 は、前記回転可能ファイバは前記回転可能部から離脱できない、請求項36に記載 の接続システム。 38. 前記回転可能部は、前記回転可能ファイバの前記近位端に前記回転可能 部を装着させるのに利用する受接管を備える、請求項36に記載の接続システム。 39. 前記連結部の前記固定部が前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリ に係合する時は、前記受接管は、コレット締め作用により、前記回転可能ファイ バの前記近位端に装着される、請求項38に記載の接続システム。 40. 前記受接管を前記回転可能ステータに向ける、前記連結部の前記回転可 能部の内部に配置するバネを更に備える、請求項38に記載の接続システム。 41. 前記バネは圧縮され、前記連結部の前記固定部は、前記光ビーム導管を 備える前記アッセンブリに係合する、請求項40に記載の接続システム。 42. 前記回転可能ファイバを包囲するスリーブを更に備え、該スリーブおよ び該光ファイバは光ガイドワイヤを形成する、請求項36に記載の接続システム。 43. 前記スリーブは前記回転可能ファイバと共に回転可能である、請求項42 に記載の接続システム。 44. 回転可能光ファイバのための接続システムを使用する方法であって、 回転可能光ファイバを設ける工程と、 光ビームを該回転可能ファイバに伝達するための導管を含むアッセンブリを設 ける工程と、 回転可能部および固定部を有する連結部を設ける工程と、 該回転可能ファイバの近位端に該回転可能部を装着する工程と、 該光ビーム導管を備える該アッセンブリに該固定部を装着させ、該回転可能フ ァイバが回転し得る一方で、その近位端は該光ビームと軸方向に整列を保つ装着 工程と、 該光ビーム導管を備える該アッセンブリから該固定部を離脱させる工程と、 該回転可能部から該回転可能ファイバを離脱させる一方で、該固定部は該光ビ ーム導管を備える該アッセンブリから離脱させられる、離脱工程とを含む、方法 。 45. 前記回転可能ファイバは前記回転可能部から離脱できないが、前記固定 部は前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリに係合する、請求項44に記載の 方法。 46. 前記回転可能ファイバが前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリか ら離脱された後で、前記回転可能ファイバの近位端を覆ってカテーテルを挿入す る工程を更に含む、請求項44に記載の方法。 47. 回転可能光ファイバと、 該回転可能ファイバを包囲するシースと、 該回転可能ファイバに光ビームを伝達するための導管を備えるアッセンブリと 、 該回転可能ファイバの近位端に装着可能な回転可能部、および、該シースと、 該光ビーム導管を備える該アッセンブリとに装着可能で、該回転可能ファイバを 回転させ得る一方で、その近位端が該光ビームと軸方向に整列を保つ、固定部を 有する連結部と、 該シース内への、および、該回転可能光ファイバの周辺への流体の導入を可能 にする該固定部に接続される、流体ポートとを備える、接続システム。 48. 前記流体ポートに接続される、流体ポートサイドアームを更に備える、 請求項47に記載の接続システム。 49. 前記光ビーム導管を備える前記アッセンブリに向けて前記流体が通過す るのを実質的に阻止する前記連結部の、前記回転可能部と前記固定部との間に配 置されるシールを更に備える、請求項47に記載の接続システム。 50. 回転可能光ファイバと、 ローター、固定ハウジング、および、該回転可能ファイバに光ビームを伝達す るための導管を備えるアッセンブリと、 固定部および回転可能部を備える連結部であって、該固定部は該固定ハウジン グに装着可能で、該回転可能部は、該回転可能光ファイバの近位端および該ロー ターに装着可能で、該回転可能ファイバが該ローターと共に回転させ得る一方で 、該回転可能ファイバは該光ビームと軸方向に整列を保つ、連結部とを備える、 接続システムであって、 該ローターは少なくとも部分的に中空で、かつ、該連結部の該回転可能部が該 ローターに係合する時は、該回転可能ファイバと軸方向に整列する該光ビーム導 管を保持するベアリングを備える、接続システム。 51. 前記光ビーム導管は、前記中空のローターシャフトの内部に配置する遠 位部を有する固定光ファイバを備える、請求項50に記載の接続システム。
