- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 溝を含有する支持体、 前記支持体上に配置された光学的機能層であって前記光学的機能層と前記支持 体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプルの層流を可能にするように配置された光 学的機能層、 前記光学的機能層上に配置された付着層、及び 前記付着層上に配置された分析対象物特異的受理層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 2.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 溝を含有する支持体、 前記支持体上に配置された光学的機能層であって前記光学的機能層と前記支持 体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプルの層流を可能にするように配置された光 学的機能層、及び 前記光学的機能層上に配置された付着層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 3.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 多孔質支持体、 前記支持体中に埋め込まれた散在した光学的機能粒子を含んでなる光学的機能 層であって前記光学的機能層と前記支持体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプル の層流を可能にするように前記光学的機能粒子が埋め込まれた光学的機能層、 前記粒子上に配置された付着層、及び 前記付着層上に配置された分析対象物特異的受理層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 4.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 多孔質支持体、 前記支持体中に埋め込まれた散在した光学的機能粒子を含んでなる光学的機能 層であって前記光学的機能層と前記支持体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプル の層流を可能にするように前記光学的機能粒子が埋め込まれた光学的機能層、及 び 前記粒子上に配置された付着層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 5.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 多孔質支持体、 前記支持体上に配置された溝を含有する光学的機能層であって前記光学的機能 層と前記支持体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプルの層流を可能にするように 配置された光学的機能層、 前記光学的機能層上に配置された付着層、及び 前記付着層上に配置された分析対象物特異的受理層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 6.サンプル中の興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ 装置であって: 多孔質支持体、 前記支持体上に配置された溝を含有する光学的機能層であって前記光学的機能 層と前記支持体が前記装置の諸層を通る前記サンプルの層流を可能にするように 配置された光学的機能層、及び 前記光学的機能層上に配置された付着層 を含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 7.前記光学的機能層が抗反射層を更に含んでなる、請求項1、2、3、4 、5又は6に記載の装置。 8.前記付着層がニッケルである、請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載 の装置。 9.前記装置が、前記光学的機能層を取り囲んでいるか又は前記支持体の下 方に吸収剤材料を更に含んでなる、請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装 置。 10.請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装置であって、 前記支持体がポリエステル又はポリカーボネートを含んでなり、 前記光学的機能層が非晶質ケイ素の層の上に配置された窒化ケイ素の層を含ん でなり、そして 前記付着層がニッケルを含んでなる装置。 11.請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装置であって、 前記支持体がポリカーボネート又はポリエステルを含んでなり、そして 前記光学的機能層がその上にダイヤモンド様炭素の層が配置されたゲルマニウ ムの層を含んでなる装置。 12.請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装置であって、 前記光学的機能層がその上にダイヤモンド様炭素の層が配置されたゲルマニウ ムの層を含んでなり、そして 前記付着層がニッケルを含んでなる装置。 13.サンプル中の分析対象物の存在又は量を検出する方法であって: 支持体、前記支持体上に配置された光学的機能層、前記光学的機能層上に配置 された付着層、及び前記付着層上に配置された分析対象物特異的受理層を含んで なる装置を提供する工程、 サンプルを前記装置の表面に適用して、前記サンプルが前記装置の諸層を貫く か又は横切る層流により引き込まれるようにする工程、及び 前記分析対象物を前記分析対象物特異的受理層に結合させ、前記装置の表面上 でマス変化を起こさせて、前記サンプル中の前記分析対象物の存在又は量を示さ せる工程 を含んでなる方法。 14.サンプル中の分析対象物の存在又は量を検出する方法であって: 支持体、前記支持体上に配置された光学的機能層、及び前記光学的機能層上に 配置された付着層を含んでなる装置を提供する工程、 前記サンプルを前記装置の表面に適用して、前記サンプルが前記装置の諸層を 貫くか又は横切る層流により引き込まれるようにする工程、 前記分析対象物を前記付着層に結合させる工程、及び 前記付着層に結合した前記分析対象物に結合する分析対象物特異的結合試薬を 提供し、前記装置の表面上でマス変化を起こさせて、前記サンプル中の前記分析 対象物の存在又は量を示させる工程 を含んでなる方法。 15.前記支持体が溝を含有する、請求項13又は14に記載の方法。 16.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が粒子を含んでなる、請 求項13又は14に記載の方法。 17.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が溝を含有する、請求項 13又は14に記載の方法。 18.層流特性を有する光学アッセイ装置を構築する方法であって: 支持体を提供する工程、 前記支持体上に光学的機能層を、前記光学的機能層と前記支持体が前記装置の 諸層を貫くか又は横切るサンプルの層流を可能にするように提供する工程、 前記光学的機能層上に付着層を提供する工程、及び 前記付着層上に分析対象物特異的受理層を提供する工程 を含んでなる方法。 19.層流特性を有する光学アッセイ装置を構築する方法であって: 支持体を提供する工程、 前記支持体上に光学的機能層を、前記光学的機能層と前記支持体が前記装置の 諸層を貫くか又は横切るサンプルの層流を可能にするように提供する工程、及び 前記光学的機能層上に付着層を提供する工程 を含んでなる方法。 20.前記支持体が溝を含有する、請求項18又は19に記載の方法。 21.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が粒子を含んでなる、請 求項18又は19に記載の方法。 22.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が溝を含有する、請求項 18又は19に記載の方法。 23.支持体と、光学的機能層であって前記諸層を通るサンプルの層流を促進 するのに有用である光学的機能層とを含んでなる組成物。 24.前記支持体が溝を含有する、請求項23の組成物。 25.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が光学的機能粒子を含ん でなる、請求項23の組成物。 26.前記支持体が多孔質であり、前記光学的機能層が溝を含有する、請求項 23の組成物。 27.前記支持体がポリカーボネートを含んでなり、前記光学的機能層が非晶 質ケイ素を含んでなる、請求項23の組成物。 28.前記光学的機能層が、前記非晶質ケイ素の層の上に配置された窒化ケイ 素の層を更に含んでなる、請求項27の組成物。 29.前記支持体がポリカーボネートを含んでなり、前記光学的機能層がゲル マニウムを含んでなる、請求項23の組成物。 30.前記光学的機能層が、前記ゲルマニウム上に配置されたダイヤモンド様 炭素の層を更に含んでなる、請求項29の組成物。 31.前記支持体がポリエステルを含んでなり、前記光学的機能層が非晶質ケ イ素を含んでなる、請求項23の組成物。 32.前記光学的機能層が、前記非晶質ケイ素上に配置された窒化ケイ素の層 を更に含んでなる、請求項31の組成物。 33.前記支持体がポリエステルを含んでなり、前記光学的機能層がゲルマニ ウムを含んでなる、請求項23の組成物。 34.前記光学的機能層が、ゲルマニウムの前記層の上に配置されたダイヤモ ンド様炭素の層を更に含んでなる、請求項33の組成物。 35.付着層として有用なダイヤモンド様炭素の非不活性組成物。 36.前記分析対象物が、抗原、抗体、レセプター、リガンド、キレート化剤 、タンパク質、酵素、核酸、DNA、RNA、殺虫剤、除草剤、無機又は有機の 化合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装 置。 37.前記光学的機能層が、非晶質ケイ素の層の上に配置された窒化ケイ素の 層を含んでなる、請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6に記載の装置。 38.前記付着層がダイヤモンド様炭素を含んでなる、請求項1、2、3、4 、5又は6に記載の装置。 39.興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のためのアッセイ装置であって: 支持体、及び ダイヤモンド様炭素を含んでなる、前記支持体上に配置された付着層を含んで なるアッセイ装置。 40.興味の対象である分析対象物の検出のための光学アッセイ装置であって : 支持体、 前記支持体上に配置された光学的機能層、及び ダイヤモンド様炭素を含んでなる、前記光学的機能層上に配置された付着層を 含んでなる光学アッセイ装置。 41.前記付着層上に配置された分析対象物特異的受理層を更に含んでなる、 請求項39又は40に記載の装置。 42.前記付着層が、抗原、抗体、レセプター、核酸、多糖類、リポ多糖類、 酵素、タンパク質、微生物、微生物から誘導される断片、ハプテン、薬物、食品 汚染物、環境物質、リガンド、キレート化剤、及びこれらの類似物又は誘導体か らなる群から選択される分析対象物に非特異的に結合する、請求項39又は40 に記載の装置。 43.前記受理層が、抗原、抗体、レセプター、核酸、多糖類、リポ多糖類、 酵素、タンパク質、微生物、微生物から誘導される断片、ハプテン、薬物、食品 汚染物、環境物質、リガンド、キレート化剤、及びこれらの類似物又は誘導体か らなる群から選択される生体分子を含んでなる、請求項41記載の装置。 44.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が前記支持体上に50Åの厚さにコートされる 、請求項39記載の装置。 45.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が前記光学的機能層上に50Åの厚さにコート される、請求項30記載の装置。 46.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が前記支持体上に50〜3000Åの厚さにコ ートされる、請求項39記載の装置。 47.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が前記光学的機能層上に50〜3000Åの厚 さにコートされる、請求項40記載の装置。 48.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が、前記支持体上に、イオンビーム法、化学蒸 着法、プラズマ堆積法、イオンビームガン法、衝撃合成法、スパッタリング、熱 高周波及びマイクロ波支援プラズマ法、加熱フィラメント法、及び直流プラズマ 法からなる群から選択される方法によりコートされる、請求項39記載の装置。 49.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が、前記光学的機能層上に、イオンビーム法、 化学蒸着法、プラズマ堆積法、イオンビームガン法、衝撃合成法、スパッタリン グ、熱高周波及びマイクロ波支援プラズマ法、加熱フィラメント法、及び直流プ ラズマ法からなる群から選択される方法によりコートされる、請求項40記載の 装置。 50.前記ダイヤモンド様炭素が工業用ダイヤモンドを含んでなる、請求項3 9又は40記載の装置。
