Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.間隔を空けて無作為に分散した、不均一な形状のエチレン−ビニルアルコ ールコポリマーの粒子を多数含む内部構造を有し、近接する粒子が少なくとも前 記粒子を結合する連続ゾーンを有する、エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマー を含むマイクロポーラス成形物品。 2.前記連続ゾーンはフィブリルである請求項1記載の物品。 3.前記エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーの鹸化度は、前記コポリマー のビニルアルコール単位に対して、少なくとも約80モルパーセントである請求 項1または2記載の物品。 4.約15モルパーセントまでの共重合性モノマーをさらに含む請求項1、2 または3記載の物品。 5.前記エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーのビニルアルコール単位の官 能性水酸基がアルデヒドで部分的に架橋されている請求項1から4のいずれか記 載の物品。 6.前記架橋度が約30モルパーセント以下である請求項5記載の物品。 7.画像受容器が前記物品にコートまたはラミネートされている請求項1から 6のいずれか記載の物品。 8.前記物品の少なくとも一表面にスキンが存在する請求項1から7のいずれ か記載の物品。 9.(a)エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーを溶解して前記コポリマー の融点で溶液を形成するものの、前記コポリマーの結晶化温度またはそれより低 い温度で冷やすと相分離する前記エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーおよび 相溶性のあるポリマーまたは化合物を含む混合物を形成するために溶融配合する 工程と、 (b)前記溶融配合された混合物の成形物品を形成する工程と、 (c)前記相溶性のあるコポリマーまたは化合物と前記エチレン−ビニルアル コールコポリマーの間に相分離を引き起こす温度に前記成形物品を冷やして、区 別されてはいるものの、複数の連続ゾーンを有する近接するエチレン−ビニルア ルコールコポリマー粒子と共に前記相溶性のあるポリマーまたは化合物を含む第 2の相中に、エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーの粒子を含む第1の相の凝 集体を含む物品を提供する工程と、 (d)間に相互接続微視孔の網を形成する近接するエチレン−ビニルアルコー ルコポリマー粒子を有する前記物品を収集する工程(i)、または 水で前記相溶性のあるポリマーまたは化合物を抽出し、前記成形物品を少なく とも一方向に延伸し、濡らして、近接するエチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマ ー粒子をさらに互いに分離し、連続ゾーンのエチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリ マーを永続的に減衰させて間にフィブリルを形成して、乾燥する工程ii)、また は 前記相溶性のあるポリマーまたは化合物を有機溶剤で抽出する工程iii)とを 含むマイクロポーラス成形物品を作成する方法。 10.(d)前記相溶性ポリマーまたは化合物を除去する前後に加熱した状態で 前記物品を延伸して、さらに、近接するエチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマー 粒子を互いに分離し、連続ゾーンのエチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーを永 続的に減衰して、その間にフィブリルを形成する工程(iii)をさらに含む請求 項9記載の方法。
