Abstract

950,173. Cartons. CONTAINER CORPORATION OF AMERICA. Oct. 9, 1962 [Oct. 9, 1961], No. 38149/62. Heading B8P. A carton has interchangeable identification means provided in one wall. The carton is formed from a single blank with front wall outer panel 12, side walls 14, back wall 16, and front wall inner panel 18. Identification tabs 26 and 32 are cut from panels 12 and 18, and can be folded along hinge lines 30 and 36. When the carton is assembled the inner and outer panels overlap and are secured to each other, and the apertures coincide to form a common opening. In order to expose the inner panel tabs 32, the said tabs are folded rearwardly into the carton, the outer tabs 26 are also folded into the carton, thus allowing the inner tabs to be folded forwardly into the plane of panel 18 so that they can be seen through the openings 30 in the outer panel. The carton may be closed at its ends by closure flaps 22 and 24.
