[Class 18] Cardboard and like boxes having sides walls of double thickness and a lid hingedly connected to the back wall are provided with flaps 44, 45 which extend from the top lid panel 24 and are secured to the adjacent side lid panels 46, 47. Alternatively, flaps extending from the side lid panels 46, 47 or from the panels 46<1>, 47<1>, Fig. 3 (not shown) may be secured to the top lid panel 24. A flap 202 extending from a reinforcing flap 31 may be secured to the top lid panel 24. Specifications 507,998 and 596,407 are referred to.
