Abstract

1,009,835. Cartons. METAL BOX CO. Ltd. Aug. 27, 1962 [Nov. 21, 1961], No. 41680/61. Heading B8P. A cardboard carton has a lid hinged to the rear wall 3, said lid having side and front walls which overlie the upper portions of the side and front walls of the carton and being retained in the closed position by a tear-strip 10 connecting the lid and body of the carton. The front wall of the carton consists of an inner and outer panel, the outer panel 12 being adhered to the inner panel 6 below the tear-strip 10. The end walls of the carton are made up of overlapping inner panels 17, 18 and complementary outer panels 13, 14, the panel 13 having a flap 21 adhered to it.
