Abstract

967,314. Lined cartons. METAL BOX CO. Ltd. May 29, 1963 [Aug. 16, 1962], No. 31515/62. Heading B8P. A tubular cardboard carton lined with a polyethylene bag 13 secured at 19, 20 and 21, 22 to two opposite sides 1, 2 and at 15, 16 to two bottom end closing flaps 5, 6 has the flaps cut away at their corners 23 and when the carton is opened up from the flat form the end 14 of the lining bag will be drawn into the carton body and will draw in the flaps 5, 6 to the partlyclosed position. Folding devices subsequently fold the other two bottom closing flaps 7, 8 towards each other, whereupon the cut away corners 23 enable the flaps 5, 6 to be pushed down into a horizontal closed position.
