Abstract

1,024,770. Collapsible cartons. KEENE & CO. Ltd. March 3, 1965 [June 12, 1964], No. 24386/64. Heading B8P. In a carton with self-locking bottom closure flaps 5, 6, 7, 8 these are connected in pairs by securing the triangular portion 5a to the flap 7, and the portion 6a to the flap 8. The tabs 13, 14 are glued to the end wall 4 and a shoulder portion 12 to complete the carton which then initially lies in a flat condition. The lid 9 has wing portions 11, 12 scored or perforated along 11a, 12a so that they lie horizontally when the lid is closed.
