Abstract

1,210,753. Boxes. REED PAPER GROUP Ltd. 18 June, 1969 [16 May, 1968], No. 23420/68. Heading B8P. A box is closed by outwardly and upwardly folding one or more tabs 7 provided on at least one of a pair of opposed side walls 6 into locking engagement between a downwardly depending flap 3 and gusset pieces 2 interconnecting flaps 3, 4. The box may be formed from a blank which may provide tabs 7 so allowing hand holes to be released when the box is closed. Flaps 4 may be spaced apart, abut or overlap in the closing position. Ventilation holes may be provided in the box, and separate tabs may be connected to the walls.
