690,881. Collapsable boxes. STANNARD, Ltd., A. E. June 19, 1951 [Aug. 21, 1950], No. 20642/50. Class 18 A collapsable box comprises a single blank divided by fold lines 1 into four panels, of which panels 2, 3, and 4 form three sides of a box of triangular section, the fourth panel 5 overlapping panel 2 and having a tongue or tongues tucked into a slot or slots 7 provided at the junction between panels 2, 3. The blank is formed at each end with a wing 9 of triangular shape divided into two triangular parts one of which folds down to form an end closure, while the other part folds double under it. Each wing has a tab 13 or 14 which can be tucked into the box when the end is closed. A tongue 15 cut out of tab 14 can be used to pull the end open, and the hole thus formed used as a discharge aperture.
