A blank for a double-walled box or lid portion of a carton is provided at opposite edges of inside folds 2 of side panels S with tongues 5 which fold in with gusset corner pieces 3 when the carton is erected, and are located beside the corner pieces 3 and separated therefrom by wedge-shaped cut-outs 15 in the flat blank. The tongues may be triangular as shown or trapezium shaped.
