868,730. Cutting out container blanks. JAGENBERG-WERKE A.G. March 14, 1960 [March 25, 1959], No. 8879/60. Class 31 (1). In a method of producing blanks 1 for the body walls of conical containers which are punched out of a web 12 of paper, card or the like, at least two blanks offset by 180 degrees in relation to one another are disposed side by side in relation to the width of the web in such manner that their upper and lower boundary edges 13, 14 are situated substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction of the web. The blanks are each divided by scoring into four wall parts 2 to 5, four parts 6 to 9 which form the subsequent roof-shaped fold closure of the container, parts 10 which form the subsequent closure flaps, and a tongue 11 to facilitate opening the container when the contents thereof are to be emptied. The waste is indicated at 17.
