596,407. Boxes. CHALMERS, J. W., and MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd. May 23, 1945, No. 12859. [Class 18] Cardboard and like boxes having side walls of double thickness and having a lid hingedly connected to the back wall are provided with flaps 42, 43 extending from the body bottom panel 35 and secured to the adjacent body side panel 51.. 54. Alternatively the flaps 42, 43 extend from the body side panels and are secured to the panel 35. Flaps 44, 45 extending from the lid top panel 24 may be secured to the adjacent lid side panels 46, 47 or, alternatively, flaps extending from the panels 46, 47 may be secured to the panel 24. A flap 202 extending from a reinforcing panel 31 may be secured to the lid top panel 24. An inner member 200, Fig. 4 (not shown), dividing the box with two compartments may be secured by adhesive to the side walls of the box. Specification 507,998 is referred to.
