Class 137 [Also in Group XI] An electric space heater comprising a casing containing a duct in which are located a fan b and heating elements j and which communicates with aperture i in the lower part of the casing front wall, has controllable fresh air inlet h and a room-air recirculation inlets a and d. In operation mixtures of fresh and recirculated air from inlets d and h may be forced down the duct where they are heated. Any of ducts a, d and h may be closed and if the heating elements are de-energized the device may be used for air conditioning purposes.
