Abstract
The unti has a sheet metal casing (1) with an insulating lining (2) on the inside. The base of the unit has entries (3, 4) for recirculated air and for fresh air. It contains a single fan (6) with a filter (11) on the inlet side. At the top of the unit there is an electric heater battery (8) made up of as many individual windings (70) as there are rooms to be heated. Each winding is in the entry of an outlet duct running to the room served by that winding and is controlled by a thermostat in the room. Each duct contains a damper controlled by the thermostat and also has a high limit thermostat (9). The unit avoids the need for electrical equipment in individual rooms.
