[Class 137] Trunking 1 fitted round the walls of a room in the position of a skirting board is supplied with air from an intake 8 by a fan 7, the air being heated by electric resistance elements in a box 6. Outlets 3 have frames 4 carrying vertical vanes or deflectors 5 extending into the trunking rearwardly to the path of the air current to a gradually increasing amount away from the fan. One or more outlets may be closed by flap or other valves. The air temperature may be controlled thermostatically and the fan and heater switched on by a time switch. Watercooled and filtering elements may be included in the system.
