[Also in Groups X and XXVI] An electric heater 43 located in the discharge duct of a ventilating fan has two elements, one being of twice the loading of the other so that three degrees of heating can be provided by selective switching. A thermal switch 44 switches off the heater if the fan fails. It may be of manually resettable type or may reclose automatically when the temperature falls. Specifications 522,669 and 632,809 are referred to.
