533,560. Ventilators; unit air heaters. AXIA FANS, Ltd.. and WYLIE, T. Nov. 8, 1939, No. 29647. [Class 137] An electric fan 15 arranged within a ventilating shaft 1 having a turntable cowl 22 supplies a current of air which passes downwards and, under control of flap valves 13, passes, as shown, through a rectangular heater 4 traversed by steam heated tubes 8. With the valves in the position shown in dotted lines, the air passes through unheated spaces separated by plane partitions 3 from the heater. In an intermediate position, a mixture of heated and unheated air at the desired temperature may be obtained.
