625,930. Ventilating systems. AIR CONTROL INSTALLATIONS, Ltd. (Aktiebolaget Svenska Flaktfabriken). Dec. 12, 1946, No. 36766. [Class 137] A ventilating plant comprises an air duct 11 leading into a room, a heat exchanger 15, 16 associated with the duct and controlled by two thermostats 24, 25 set to operate at different temperatures, and time controlled means 26 arranged to render the thermostats separately operable so that during certain periods the air is supplied at one controlled temperature and during the other periods at another controlled temperature. In the form shown, recirculated and/or fresh air through ducts 19, 20 respectively is passed in proportions determined by a damper 18 through heating and cooling coils 15, 16 and the duct 11 to ducts 9, 10, and thence through downwardly inclined openings (not shown) into the room. The thermostats control the damper motor 23 and valves 21, 22 in the heating and cooling medium supply ducts respectively.
