Abstract
889,920. Alternators. BOSCH G.m.b.H., ROBERT. July 6, 1960 [July 11, 1959], No. 23603/60. Class 35. In an A.C. machine, particularly a generator, a stationary field system encloses an interdigitated rotor which is interposed between it and a stationary armature 19. The field system comprises two iron rings 11, 12 in contact with housing 10 and whose adjacent ends are conically shaped to receive field winding 13. The rotor comprises two iron rings 23, 24, which are rigidly connected by a brass carrier ring 28 and secured to the hub 27 by ring 23.
