Abstract

881,325. Valves. PNEUMATIC CONVEYORS (HUDDERSFIELD) Ltd., and BARRACLOUGH, E. C. July 22, 1958 [June 5, 1957], No. 17879/57. Class 135. A liquid flow control valve comprises a rotary disc 24, Fig. 1, formed with a crescent-shaped opening 30, of Fig. 2 progressively varying width which co-operates with a slotted port 31 in a nipple screwed into the valve body 23 to vary the flow between a body inlet 26 and an outlet 32 on rotation of a shaft 21. A spring 33 and inlet pressure urges the disc against face 23a of the valve body. Specification 881,324 is referred to.
