Abstract

1320991 Valves FLAIR MFG CORP 19 April 1971 [17 Sept 1970] 25340/71 Heading F2V A fluid control valve comprises a valve member 3 having a rotatable flat portion to obturate flow from an inlet to an outlet and which is axially slidable to communicate a purge opening 14 with either the inlet or the outlet depending upon the position of a semicircular part 15 of the valve member 3. The valve member is normally rotatable between two stop portions (8) (Figs. 3, 4, not shown) on a washer 6 restrained against rotation, a stop 4 being provided on the valve stem 1. To open the purge port the handle 9 is first depressed and the stop 4 is then located in one of two slots (10) in the washer 6.
