Abstract

834,995. Electric bells. ERICSSON TELEPHONES Ltd. Oct. 24, 1958, No. 34041/58. Class 13. A magneto bell has an E-shaped magnet system comprising two electromagnets 1 supported by a yoke 5 and -a central limb 19 arranged between the electromagnets, the central limb being polarized by a permanent magnet 10 clamped to the central limb and to the yoke 5. As shown, the permanent magnet 10 is clamped between the central limb 19 and a projecting arm 7 on the yoke 5 by means of screws 9 and a non-magnetic channel-section member 12. The screws 9 pass through slots 8 in the arm 7, thereby permitting adjustment of the air gap between the pole-pieces 4 and the armature 15 which is pivoted on the hooked end of the central limb 19.
