810,588. Electric bells. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. (Standard Electrica S.A.). March 9, 1956, No. 7448/56. Class 13. [Also in Group XXXIX] A bell comprises an electromagnet with polepieces 8 and 9 clamped to core 59 which has a return limb 77. Brass spacers 76 and air gaps separate the limb 77 from the core 59 and the polepieces 8 and 9. A permanent magnet 60 polarizes the core of the electromagnet. A clapper arm 61 is mounted by a spring 63 on an adjustable bracket 62 and oscillates between two gongs.
