826,266. Gas-blast switches. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Dec. 5, 1956 [Dec. 5, 1955], No. 37162/56. Class 38 (5). A gas-blast switch has its arc-extinguishing gas supplied from two tanks containing compressed gas, one tank being connected to the switch for the period of an opening and reclosing operation and the other tank being connected to the switch for the period of a final opening operation. The tanks may be filled to the same pressure and have independently controlled blast valves.
