Class 52(2) To fold the deck chair shown, the canvas 13 is detached by removing its end bars 14 from open-ended slots in the frame, latch bars 7 at each side are unhooked from the pivots 3 and then the back bars 1 are folded down (Fig. 4) causing each X-frame 2, 4 to collapse and the two X- frames to be drawn together by X-form cross braces 12.
