[Class 52 (iii)] A collapsable chair comprises a pair of spaced members 1 connected by slats 2 and pivoted at thein front ends at 3 to the legs 4 of two pairs of folding crossed legs 4, 6 pivoted together at 5. The legs 6 'are connected together at their upper ends by a bar 13 which is adapted to enter recesses 9 at the rear of the members 1 and be held therein by blade springs 10, 11 when the chair is erected. A back 14 is pivoted to the legs 6.
