657,804. Seats. SILVER & EDGINGTON, Ltd., (trading as EDGINGTON (SILVER & EDGING- TON, Ltd.), B.), and ATKIN, A. E. March 4, 1949, No. 6031. [Class 52 (ii)] A folding chair comprises a seat and two rear legs pivoted to two members 9 which form the back portion and the front legs 10, extension of the rear legs 20 beyond the pivots being adapted to engage shoulders or projections on the seat when in operative position. The seat which comprises side members 14, cross slats 16, and cross member 15, is pivoted at 17 and is provided with notches 18 and shoulders 19 against which the rear leg extensions engage. The back portion members 9 are provided with slats 13 and stops 24 against which the seat abuts when the latter is in folded position.
