Abstract

484,972. Stools, seats, &c. KAVANAGH, P. Nov. 5, 1937, No. 30341. [Class 52 (ii)] A stool or chair has a seat a the front portion of which is reduced in width and so shaped as to lie between the legs of the occupant, two rear legs c, and a front leg b, the legs being rigidly fixed to the seat. A back e and rails d may be provided, and a foot-rest may be secured to the front leg. An arm-chair, Fig. 8, may have the seat and legs similarly shaped and arranged. The front leg may be provided with a telescopic or hinged member to elevate or adjust the height of the front of the seat.
