Class 52(2) In a reclining chair, the seat 18 is pivoted at 17 to side blocks 23 pivoted at 15 to supports 14, the back 20 is pivoted at 21 to the rear of the seat, struts 50 are pivoted at 51, 52, to the back and blocks 23 respectively, the struts have pin and slot connections 56 with the seat 18, and springs 60 acting between the struts and the seat urge the back towards upright position. An automatically projected legrest 70 is provided.
