645,539. Seats. JORGENSEN, T. B. May 6, 1949, No. 12131. Convention date, June 2, 1948. [Class 52 (ii)] In a chair of the kind comprising a main frame forming a back-rest and the front legs, a seat and a real leg frame being pivoted to the main frame and independently pivotable into the main frame, the seat is supported at its front end by arms pivoted to the main frame. The main frame 1, 2, 3 has pivoted thereto a rear leg frame 5, 6 and, by means of pins 12 on the main frame engaging grooves 11, a seat 7 ... 10. Additionally the front end of the seat is supported by arms 15 pivoted to the main frame and engaging, by means of pins 14, grooves 13 in the side members 7 of the seat. In a modification the rear leg frame is pivoted on the pins 12 and is extended upwardly for pin and slot engagement with arm rests pivoted to the main frame.
